7th Meeting, 16th Session Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous peoples(EMRIP)

Madam Faith Nwadishi, the Executive Director of the Centre for Transparency Advocacy @Cta_Abj with Dr Ibrahim M. Zikirullahi, Executive Director of Resource Centre for Human Rights & Civic Education @chricedng , Other Cohort Executive Directors at the 16th session of the Expert Mechanism for the Rights of Indigenous Peoples at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, Switzerland which is started from July 17, 2023 and will end on July 21, 2023. Madam Faith @faithlyn_7 joined other voices to bring to the attention of the world the marginalization and suppression of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples of the FCT. Importantly, about two million Original Inhabitants (OIs) of Abuja’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Nigeria, comprising nine tribes and seventeen chiefdoms, face the challenges of landlessness, statelessness, and the extinction of their culture.
