Introduction/Background: Cultural rally plays a very significant role in the promotion of the rights of indigenous people of FCT. It is a live performance that is devoted to showcasing the richness of the culture of the Original Inhabitants of FCT. It is an exhibition of their work of Art, music and culture in general.
Objective(s) of the activity:
– To display the dynamics in culture and traditions of the Original Inhabitants of FCT. – To commemorate 2022 United Nations International Day of World’s Indigenous People with the indigenous of FCT in focus.

he made it clear that the event was to mark United Nations Indigenous Day celebration and to showcase the richness of the culture of the Original Inhabitants of FCT through their display of Arts and significant cultural heritage. He also added that the event is to promote peace and unity among the nine tribes and hope that this would help people to begin to understand that the Original Inhabitants still have existing cultures. Speaking further, he added that the Original Inhabitants of FCT has the full backing of MacArthur Foundation and CHRICED.
