The centre for Transparency Advocacy (CTA) also known as the Independent Service Delivery Monitoring group (ISDMG) is a public service watchdog Organization. We monitor and appraise the activities of public service institutions in Nigeria to ensure that budgeted funds are properly utilized by these ministries, departments and agencies of governments at the state and national level.

In doing this, CTA carries out researches, develops policy briefs, and convenes stakeholders meetings in our key focus areas of Education, Power sector reforms and the election value Chain.

CTA is also a key stakeholder in the National electoral value chain, as an accredited observer group with the Independent National electoral Commission (INEC), CTA has actively participated in all scheduled and off season elections since 2015.

CTA’s flagship events are the Annual Public service Delivery Report and Awards. These events begins with request for Information sent to all MDAs invoking the Freedom of Act 2010 to solicit  specific information from MDAs on the projects and activities undertaken by them in the fiscal year. The responses from these MDAs are then vetted by a team of experts and then subjected to a public perception poll which gives the Nigerian public the opportunity to vote for the most efficient  and outstanding  MDA  in various categories. These outstanding MDAs are then rewarded in an elaborate awards ceremony.

CTA also holds monthly media briefings where topical issues are discussed with Editors and correspondents of various media houses.
