1. INTRODUCTION
The Expert Group on Electoral Reforms (EGER) held a roundtable discussion on the theme ‘Inconclusive Elections: the Facts and the Myths’. Convened by the Independent Service Delivery Monitoring Group (ISDMG), the roundtable held at Sandralia Hotels, Abuja on the 16th of June, 2016. The Group’s discussion was set to unveil the ambiguities beclouding the increasingly popular notion of ‘inconclusive’ which threatens the credibility of Nigeria’s electoral process. The expert conversation of stakeholders was the second in a series of discussions to address emergent issues on elections in Nigeria with a view to salvage Nigeria’s evolving democracy from the booby straps of electoral malfunction. Perspectives were drawn from a rich mix of stakeholders including the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, represented by Mr Olawole Uzzi (Director, Voter Education & Publicity, Gender, and Civil Society Liaison), as well as renowned civil society advocates and members of the press.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
